Ganora Technologies - Demo Case Study, 2025

Made with Love

Fresh cloud kitchens, designed to feel like an elixir for an ordinary appetite.

A complete brand and ordering experience - identity, color system, UI, and UX - built end to end by Ganora Technologies to prove what a premium cloud kitchen brand can look like.

Some brands begin with a problem to solve. Mealixir began with a feeling - the kind of hunger that has nothing to do with an empty stomach, and everything to do with wanting something good.

The Challenge

Three problems standing between hunger and an order.

Cloud kitchens live and die in the thirty seconds between "I'm hungry" and "I've ordered." Most ordering sites treat that moment like a checklist. Mealixir couldn't.

Friction

Ordering fatigue

Long menus and multi-step checkouts cause drop-off exactly when appetite is highest and patience is lowest.

Personality

A missing identity

Most cloud kitchen sites share the same generic look - dark hero, white sans-serif, orange button. None of them are memorable.

Competing goals

Sell, inform, convert - at once

One menu page has to do all three jobs without any single one crowding out the others.

The best food brands don't rely on menu density to feel abundant. They rely on editing.

Brand Strategy

A name built from two ideas colliding on purpose.

MEAL + ELIXIR

The ordinary act of eating, crossed with something that feels a little bit magic. Mealixir promises that "what's for dinner" can be answered with something special - fresh, fast, and made with care.

Mealixir is fast food's manners.

Brand Identity

Three decisions carry the whole mark.

The lettering. A bold, dimensional, rounded red wordmark - confident enough for a delivery box, friendly enough to never feel corporate. The glossy finish keeps it feeling indulgent rather than institutional.

The cloud. A soft white cloud sits behind the type - a quiet nod to "cloud kitchen" that rewards anyone who notices it.

The plate & ribbon. A swirling ribbon in gold, teal, and coral reads as movement and variety, while quietly seeding the palette a visitor is about to meet on the page below.

Color System

Built to make the food the hero, never the palette.

Every hue was chosen to sit behind the dishes, not compete with them.

Background
#FFFEFB
A near-white with just enough cream to feel like linen, not a hospital wall.
Coral - Primary
#FF5A6B
The appetite color. Warmer than pure red, so it stays inviting rather than alarming.
Gold - Secondary
#FFB300
Optimism and freshness, carrying the "Made with Love" tagline.
Teal - Supporting
#2EC4B6
A cool counter-note used sparingly, as a "just-picked" freshness cue.
Ink - Text
#14303A
A softened near-black with a cool undertone that harmonizes with the teal accent.
Sky - Hover / Links
#57BDF7
The one hue guaranteed to stay legible against the busy footer gradient.
Surface - Cards
#FFFFFF
Pure white cards float above the warmer background without hard borders.
Border
rgba(20,48,58,.08)
Hairline dividers keep the interface airy instead of boxed-in.

AaInter

Typography

One quiet typeface, so the logotype can be the loud one.

Inter carries every word of UI copy - navigation, menu descriptions, buttons. It stays crisp at small sizes, has a neutral geometric warmth that never competes with food photography, and keeps personality concentrated at the brand mark rather than scattered through the interface.

Visual Direction

Six principles behind every screen.

Ph

Photography

Top-down flat-lay shots with a warm-to-cool duotone wash instead of a flat dark overlay.

Ic

Icons

Simple, rounded, single-color glyphs - a heart, a bowl - used sparingly, never a full illustration system.

Sh

Shapes

Rounded corners everywhere, mirroring the plate motif from the logo. Nothing is a hard rectangle.

Bg

Backgrounds

Soft, low-opacity gradients - section transitions feel like light shifting across a table.

Mo

Motion

Restrained and physical: a lift, a shadow bloom, nothing that spins or calls attention to itself.

Co

Components

Pill buttons, rounded frames, one card system reused for menus, process, and outcomes alike.

UI Design

Where every decision meets at once.

A duotone food photograph carries both the coral and teal accents without a single extra graphic element. The headline splits into two weights - calm, then bold gold - so the eye reads urgency and delight in sequence.

Menu - Discovery

UX Strategy

Filter by mood, not by taxonomy.

The search bar sits above everything, immediately available for a visitor who already knows what they want. Beneath it, pill-shaped category filters - rendered in the signature gradient when active - narrow the field in one tap, without a page reload.

Every dish card carries only what's needed to decide: image, honest description, price - running four across on desktop, collapsing to one full-width photo per dish on mobile.

Meet the Kitchen

Key Screen - Trust

A face behind food that has no dining room.

Cloud kitchens have a built-in trust problem: no dining room, no visible kitchen. This screen solves it with a small team of fictional chef personas - each given a specialty and a one-line philosophy rather than a generic bio.

It's a lightweight storytelling device, placed deliberately between the hero and the menu - a visitor meets "who's cooking" before they're asked "what do you want to order."

Process

Checkout was designed before the homepage was.

01

Research

How people currently browse and order from cloud kitchens, and where they hesitate.

02

Wireframes

A simplified, mobile-first checkout skeleton, stress-tested before any visual design began.

03

Design

The visual system, component library, and microcopy layered onto the validated structure.

04

Build

Implementation, performance passes, and cross-device testing.

Design System

A handful of components, reused everywhere.

Rather than a sprawling library, Mealixir runs on four repeating parts. Try the filter below - it's the same interaction from the live menu.

Outcome

Proof, not a pitch.

Mealixir set out to prove that a cloud kitchen brand doesn't have to choose between playful and premium - and the finished system delivers on that brief. The identity, palette, and component set are cohesive enough to extend across new menu items or campaigns without the visual discipline breaking down.

As a demo project, its purpose was never to report a business result. It was to demonstrate, screen by screen, exactly how Ganora Technologies approaches a brand from first sketch to finished interface.
